Whitemarsh Boat Club (WBC) is a Community Rowing Organization dedicated to the advancement of the sport of rowing, located in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania. The club offers year-round programs for both youth and adults. Located on the sheltered, scenic banks of the Schuylkill River close to where I-476 meets I-76, WBC rowers enjoy almost eight miles of calm water, protected by the tall hills of Gladwyne and Lower Merion. WBC is a club where rowers of diverse backgrounds in the sport and a wide range of abilities inspire each other through sportsmanship and friendship. The weather gods gave us GORGEOUS conditions for National Learn to Row Day. On June 4th WBC is hosting a US Rowing National Learn to Row event from 9:30 am to 11:00 am. This is a great opportunity for those who want to learn to row and learn more about WBC. Attendees will get a tour of the WBC Boathouse, learn how to use the rowing machines, and have the opportunity to get out on the Schuylkill River and physically row. Spread the word to your family and friends who are interested in learning to row. It is 100% free, though advance Registration is required and space is limited. We are pleased to announce the introduction of a High Performance Junior Racing Team. As the popularity of our summer programs grows we are faced with the challenge of keeping rowing available to the greatest number of athletes possible, while still allowing our most committed athletes to gain speed over the summer months.
