We are hosting our fall Open House & invite anyone who is curious about junior/youth rowing opportunities to visit!

We will have coaches, parents, & athletes on hand to answer any & all questions, plus give insight into what it means to be a youth rower at Whitemarsh Boat Club. Rowing is a unique sport in many ways, but most unique in the fact that most successful rowers don’t begin rowing at an early age. Even if your high school student has zero rowing experience they are able to join the fall team & will find themselves racing by the end of the season. All we require is an athlete who is willing to take on a new challenge, work hard, support their teammates on & off the water, & have some fun along the way. Interested middle school students can learn more about the learning opportunities provided throughout the year that will set them up to join the racing team at a later date.

So, if your child has ever seen those super skinny boats out on the river & expressed curiosity or interest? Now’s the time to learn more about it!

We look forward to seeing you on Saturday, August 24th! Stop in anytime between 10 AM & 1 PM.
