WBC offers a camp or program for just about any experience or interest level in the summer. Click the links for more information about the individual programs:
- Summers offer up to 6 Learn-to-Row camps, geared towards those with no or very little experience. CLICK HERE for more information.
- For rowers in high school with some rowing experience but who don’t want to commit to racing (or who may be going on vacation), there is a Technical Rowing option that begins in early July & runs through mid-August. The focus will be on improving technique while having fun on the river; athletes have the chance to get into different boats than they may otherwise have the option for during the school year. Athletes who don’t yet have a full season of rowing but may want to get more experience than a Learn-to-Row may inquire about Technical Training.
- If you want to race in the summer, WBC’s Summer Racing Team practices from mid-June through the conclusion of The Royal Canadian Henley in early August. Practice is held 6 days a week and rowers will race at two local regattas with the possibility of the most competitive boats traveling to Club Nationals (location changes yearly) & Canadian Henley (Saint Catharine’s, ON). CLICK HERE to visit the Racing Team page.
- WBC also host a summer program for Under-23, collegiate athletes. Practices typically begin in early June & run through Canadian Henley. Athletes practice 6 days a week in the early morning hours & numbers of selected athletes are kept small to ensure the most personalized experience possible. Information coming soon.
