Learn to Erg
Rowing is a sport suited for everyone! No matter your age, size, or gender, you can learn to row – no special athletic ability or hand-eye coordination needed. It’s a non-contact, low-impact activity that engages all major muscle groups, making it an excellent choice for improving overall fitness. Participation in this program gives you early access to register for our highly coveted Adult Learn to Row programs in the summer!
What will you learn and focus on?
- Technique and the mechanics of the stroke.
- How to read and understand the performance monitor.
- How ratio and power application of the erg translate to on the water rowing.
- A secondary focus will be on developing strength, flexibility, and endurance to take your rowing to the next level!
