High Performance
Black Sheep Racing, the High-Performance Team of Whitemarsh Boat Club, was established in 2022 by Head Coach Sean Hall. The team was created to offer a supportive environment for rowers aspiring to compete at the international level who find themselves at odds with the traditional rowing systems. Black Sheep Racing is dedicated to those who are determined to succeed despite facing significant challenges and obstacles. Emphasizing resilience and perseverance, the team aims to provide a platform where athletes can overcome difficulties and achieve their highest potential, embodying the spirit of triumph against the odds.
The Successes
Even in a few short years Black Sheep Racing has had a lot of success! From 2022-2024 this team has sent athletes to the World Championships each year. They’ve also sent an athlete to the 2024 Olympics!
Meet the Coaches
Coach Sean Hall is a three time Olympian, and an initiate to the US Rowing Hall of Fame. He has had many successes as a High Performance Coach over the last 2 decades.
