Master’s Race Team

What is this team & Who is it for?

This program focuses on the performance of our boats at select regattas through the season. We do this by focusing on technique and aerobic fitness of our athletes. Our coaches have years of experience working with Master’s athletes, and build training programs that cater to the ability of our athletes and the performance at regattas.

In the Fall Season Master’s races are between 3k and 6k in length. This racing style helps to build a solid aerobic fitness foundation. Fall racing emphasizes the importance of technique in such long races. In the Spring and Summer seasons Master’s races are 1k in length. These races bring competition from around the country, so all athletes can enjoy the challenge of pushing their limits. This team provides a great opportunity to grow, learn, and connect with other rowers who share the same passion and dedication to the sport.
