Fall Middle School Team

Who is the team for?

• Middle School athletes (6-8th grade).
• Athletes who have rowed previously, either in a WBC program, or a Learn to Row camp elsewhere.
• Athletes who want to row but not compete.
• Athletes will focus on the technical side of the stroke, and will become proficient rowers in sculling boats, and sweep boats if numbers allow.
• Athletes who want to improve their aerobic fitness.

Program Expectations

• Attendance to all practices is mandatory, unless excused in advance by coaches.
• This team will promote sportsmanship, friendship, and good physical and mental health by focusing on the development of the whole athlete in a team environment.
• Gain rowing skill and enjoy the sport!
• Primarily the focus will be on sculling boats, but if numbers allow, we will also get into sweep boats.

To complete your registration please complete the following steps:

1. Register on Regatta Central.
2. Be a USRowing Basic Member ($25.00)
   1. Use this link to continue to the USRowing site.
   2. If you already have an account, log in under “Member Portal” and make sure you are a Basic Member.
   3. If you do not have a USRowing account, click “Register Here” under the Basic Membership tab.
   4. To affiliate with WBC search for “Whitemarsh” in the “Team or Club Name” and use our code APKCM to register.

The cost of the Fall Middle School Team is $950. Payment to secure your spot is due upon registration. For siblings on the team there is a $50 discount. Please reach out to the You Administration team if this discount applies to your situation by emailing them here.

WBC believes that all athletes, no matter their financial status, should have the opportunity to row. To aid athletes in this, WBC is pleased to offer a scholarship for our Youth Programs. If you believe this applies to you or your athletes, please follow the directions on this form. The scholarship committee will review these submissions and contact you about your scholarship status.
