Spring Middle School Team

Who Should Join?

  • Athletes 12 years old – 8th grade.
  • New and experienced athletes!
  • Athletes who want to focus on rowing technique and build their aerobic base fitness.

Program Goals and Expectations

  • Have fun learning and developing the fundamentals of the rowing stroke.
  • Learn how to scull (2 oars).
  • Learn how to sweep (given a large enough program).
  • Learn the basics so that athletes can become strong rowers in the future.
  • Attend as many practices as possible.

Schedule

March 9th – May 12th

This program is made up of two teams.  The first session will be primarily for learn-to-row athletes, and the second session will be primarily for experienced athletes.  If you can only make one team let us know upon registration and we will make an exception for the athlete.
