Whitemarsh Boat Club offers year-round rowing and racing opportunities for male and female middle school and high school students from across the Delaware Valley. The Schuylkill River at Conshohocken offers an ideal place to train and the Club’s location near the intersection of I-76 and 476 gives easy access for families from across the region. Our programs are designed so everyone (ie all skill levels) has a place in our organization:

Junior Learn to Row

Middle School (grades 6-8) & High School (grades 9-12) students with no or very little rowing experience who are interested in discovering rowing, or know that they want to prepare for the upcoming racing season. Offered each Fall and Summer.

Middle School Program

Middle School students from 11 years or older. This Program is a fun, low key way to learn and/or develop the basics of rowing. Offered each Spring

Technical Training

Middle and High School students (12-18 years of age) with some experience (learn to row, summer camp, and/or previous WBC program), who are not interested in rowing competitively. While you won’t be attending regattas you will be improving with every practice & will also be working hard enough to maintain an aerobic base for the upcoming winter season. Offered each Fall and Summer

Race Team

Middle and High School students (13-18 years of age) whose schools do not offer a rowing team, who are interested in training and racing with other athletes from around the region in regattas. Novice through varsity levels – no experience is needed. Offered each Fall, Spring, Summer

Winter Training

Any High School rower who is looking for a well-rounded approach to “off season” training. If your scholastic program does not offer a winter training program, we welcome you to join us! Offered each Winter
